UBC Virtual Indigenous Science Experience (VISE) 2021

The Virtual Indigenous Science Experience (VISE) brings together Indigenous high school students from urban and rural communities throughout British Columbia and other parts of Canada, for a culturally relevant and holistic learning opportunity designed to encourage the pursuit of post-secondary education, particularly in the science and health fields. UBC Summer Science is over 30 years old, however, VISE was developed in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 virus, and offers a completely virtual summer camp experience.

Any Indigenous students entering grades 9 to 12 in Fall 2021 are strongly encouraged to apply!
