While living in Nunavut from 1976 – 2005, teacher, author, poet and amateur photographer Nick Newbery visited nearly all communities throughout the North. His archive of work, in particular a vast photo collection recently donated to the Nunavut government, presents an extensively documented view of some of the history and culture of Canada’s North.
The Museum welcomes Nick to speak about his time in the North and highlight several examples from his collection.
