Màmawi Together’s 7th annual Speaker Series Evening Arts Celebration

The Evening Arts Celebration will feature Susan Aglukark as our keynote singer/performer on the “Critical Role of the Arts in Reconciliation” along with other arts performances and National Challenge highlights. Also featured are: Eagle Dancer JP Longboat, Manitoba fiddler Oliver Boulette, Hip Hop artist Justin Holness, youth fiddler Quenten Lundie, Prairie Fire Metis Cultural dancers and throat singers Samatha Kigutak Metcalfe and Cailyn DeGrandpre.

The National Challenge is a call out to all schools across Canada to commit to a legacy Reconciliation project. Legacy projects are projects and/or a combination of on-going and annual commitments and activities that will have meaningful and long-lasting impact in increasing Indigenous awareness, education and Reconciliation in schools in Ottawa and across Canada.
