CSI Living Workshop #1: Indigenous Context – Residential Schools

A Living Workshop engages all of the senses, and parts of our bodies on an experiential learning journey exploring topics and issues that are relevant and important.

On this experiential journey we will take a full day bus trip to the Largest First Nations Reserve in Canada – the Six Nations of the Grand River, and explore Aboriginal Context: Residential Schools, and Indigenous Land Claims in real time with all of your senses:

To engage your eyes we will experience a digital tour of the Mush Hole Residential School.

To engage your ears and your heart, you will sit with a Residential School Survivor, and hear about their lived experience.

To engage your mind, participate in an Indigenous Land Claims workshop.

To engage your sense of touch, and curiosity you will be guided on a tour of the Woodland Cultural Musem

To engage your taste and smell, traditional Indigenous lunch will be provided.
